About RefiRadar & our methodology
How we find, check and present credit union auto loan rates.
What we do
RefiRadar is an independent, Kansas-based site that collects the auto loan and refinance rates credit unions publish on their own websites, starting with Kansas and its neighbors: Kansas, Missouri, Oklahoma, Nebraska, Colorado, Iowa.
Where the rates come from
- Every rate is copied from the credit union's own public rate page. Each row links to that source.
- We show the lowest advertised (“as low as”) APR, the term it applies to, and the effective date the credit union publishes. If no date is published, we show the date we last checked the page.
- We don't include banks, dealer financing or rates we can't verify on the lender's own site.
- Current data: 27 rates from 17 credit unions, last checked Oct 16, 2026.
How rankings work
Tables are sorted by APR, lowest first. No credit union pays for placement or ranking. If we ever add sponsored listings, they will be clearly labeled and never change the rate order.
Important limits
- Advertised rates are for the best-qualified borrowers and may require autopay, minimum loan amounts, newer vehicles or other conditions.
- Credit unions require membership; eligibility varies.
- Rates change often. Always confirm the current rate and terms with the credit union before applying.
